This application turns your iPhone in a kind of odometer.

During your trip, by car or by bike, or by foot, using the internal GPS, it detects your current position every 30 seconds. At every step it computes and records current speed, average speed, total trip length, and total elapsed time.

Locations are only recorded when the GPS position is better than 200 meters, or 0.12 Mil. otherwise are discarded. Speed precision depends on GPS accuracy, and may be rather imprecise on short distances.

When you launch the application, you can choose your preferred unit for distances (Km. or Miles).

Touching the first button, "Start new trip", you will clear all previously recorded data and will begin a new trip.

Touching the second button "Continue last trip", you will save all previous data, and will append the new data to the old ones.

The third button "Review last trip" allows you to show in sequence all the last trip steps, positioned on maps.

The fourth button "Email last trip" allows you to format and send an email to somebody with the details of the last trip, described step by step.

The fifth button "Last trip report" to format and show on the screen a detailed report of the last trip, step by step.

You can leave the application active during your trip, because position recording continues even when the application runs in background: this reduces battery consumption even during very long trips, but in any case be aware that:
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
